Merry Christmas! Our Gift To You

Well, it's our last big sale of the year, with all NEW WASHI TAPE, Lucky Dip Bags, Flair Buttons, as well as all the usual goodies the Purple Pumpkin store is stocked with. Of course, the store stays open all the time, and will be topped up over the Christmas break, but items such as the Lucky Dip Bags have only limited quantities available, so make sure you get in quick if you want one!

As a thank you to all of our wonderful customers, we've got a special Christmas gift which will be sent with all orders $25 and over placed between the 30th of November and the 2nd of December. (limit one per customer). There are some special little goodies in these bags which we know you'll just LOVE!

Glam girls by Judith

Morning everyone, Judith here to share a page I did recently. I love pink but my daughter's favourite colour is purple and so nowadays I rarely get to scrap much pink. Last week she came home with some photos taken at her best friend Rachels' birthday party. They had hired a pink stretch limousine to take the girls for a ride around town. So I took inspiration from the car door and went wild with pink.

Luckily, there are plenty of pink Purple Pumpkin embellishments to match. Here are some close ups of what I have used. Some pink tickets, a pink spotty button, a pretty tulle pink flower and a pink heart fabric button.

In this cluster I used a dark pink lace flower, a pink floral fabric button, some more pick tickets and a pink resin flower.

My Sunshine

 

Hi, Sarah here. Today I want to share with you a page that is very special to me. I have been doing a few 11 1/2 x 8" pages recently. Sometimes it is refreshing to try something a little different from your usual.

The photo of Sophie was taken on the day that we scattered my dads ashes back home in the UK. When he passed away in 2009 in New Zealand I knew that he would want his ashes taken back to England to be laid with the rest of his family who had passed before him. This year we finally made the trip. The photo was taken at the Carmountside Garden of Remembrance which is a really beautiful place. Sophie looks so pretty in her favourite purple clothes with the yellow spring flowers in the grass behind her. This was a really difficult topic to scrap about, as you can imagine and I had been avoiding it for many months. I am really glad that I did it though and my children now have this memory for the future.

I used some older October Afternoon products for this page. The cute birdie card is also from OA.

The purple spotty button and the gorgeous butterfly flare button are from Purple Pumpkin. Check out this close up.

These PP buttons really are great to add that special touch, or splash of colour to bring a page together.
Since my journaling for this one is obviously quite personal so I tucked it away in a pocket on the back of the page. Each of my 6 kids who range in age from 3 to 22 wrote 3 memories that they had of times shared with grandpa. I hope that they will  treasure this page and that it will bring back happy memories of their grandpa who we miss every day.

Define good? By Crece

Hi everyone, Christmas is just around the corner. Its one of my favorite holidays. I love the watching my children get excited over the simple things be it Christmas lights and decorations, to a simple Christmas movie on the telly.
Every year I take a photo of my boys to send along with the Christmas cards I send to family and friends. The photos I used for this layout I want to share with you were taken last year.
I created this layout for a challenge on Scraplounge.

I created a round layout using a WRMK Lucky 8 punch and Sew Easy, a bit of paint and some kaiser papers combined with Purple Pumpkin embellishments helped to create this layout.

This is a close up of my little cluster of Purple Pumpkin I have used on this layout. I have used a small red doily, a red heart button and some pink/white twine.

Good morning everyone!  Today is a holiday here in the USA, Thanksgiving.  A day in which we reflect on what we are thankful for.  I foremost am thankful for my family, which will be spending the day with me.  For those of you that celebrate Thanksgiving,  here's wishing a day filled with happiness, joy and family memories.   Now on to my layout, filled with new Purple Pumpkin embellishments!

I am working on an album for a friend and the beautiful girl in the photo is
her oldest daughter Rio.
 
I did a lot of machine stitching on my layout and stamping.
 I love the subtle touch of flowers I stamped on the large white doily.

This beautiful Purple Pumpkin  butterfly flair button
is a perfect match for the colors in my layout.

A little cluster using some tickets and a resin flower.

Love this pretty satin flower which I backed with a white doily.

'All Grown Up' Layout by Helen Tilbury

Hello to all you Purple Pumpkin fans!  HELEN here with you
 today & I have one very layered up page to share with you...

I used up the last of my Riddersholm papers from my 

C'est Magnifique Guest Designer stint a few months back.

I mixed my Purple Pumpkin product with Imaginarium Designs

chipboard & cut that awesome chippie butterfly right down the

middle and popped him on opposite corners of my photograph!

I layered up tonnes of Purple Pumpkin loveliness - 

the lace flower, circular flower, fabric button (stars), 

fabric button (polka dots) plus doilies & crochet lace too.

My title and cogs also come from Imaginarium Designs

and my stencil from The Crafter's Workshop.

I did all sorts of things to that chipboard :)  I painted it

first with black, then again with crackle-paint & lastly 

went over it with ink & distress stain in random places. 

I used up the negative sheet from the cogs as a rectangular

mat behind my photograph, together with one of the

 Imaginarium Designs fancy filigree corners.

Layers are key to achieving this look!

I tucked in a little piece of Imaginarium Design picket fencing too.

The paisley button on the left is from Purple Pumpkin available HERE.

I used the November sketch at The Scrapbook Store 

as my starting point.

"Going crazy"

Hello everyone! "Going crazy" is the challenge this month at Berry71bleu and that's what I did! I usually create using a sketch but not this time...I took my mists, stencils and gloss medium and started playing around! I loved the outcome!!!! The "Domestic Goddess" collection by 7 dots combined with the fantastic Purple Pumpkin goodies, urges you to create something extraordinary!!!

I have misted the flowers to match the colors of my layout!!! That bold felt doily and the washi tape are from Purple Pumpkin!!!

I really loved this collection by 7 Dots as it has so many beautiful die cuts, vintage stickers and papers with bold colors!!!

Orange doily and dotted button are from Purple Pumpkin!!!

To create that dripping effect with your mists, just spray many times in a certain spot, then hold your paper upright and while it is dripping blow some air on it (I hope I make sense...hahaha)

These two cool funky star buttons are Purple Pumpkin!
