I've been really enjoying using sketches quite alot at the moment. This layout is based on one of the latest challenges this month at Creative Scrappers...
It's an unusually busy sketch, so I decided that a busy sketch calls for some busy photos! This was so much fun to create. I've done some different things for this one, like I actually stuck all my photos onto white cardstock first with tissue tape around the edges. Then I cut around the photos (cutting the photos freehand) to leave a much thinner tape border. In doing this, I have then been left with a funky bordered photo plus a matching sized piece of cardstock (which was underneath - but now not attached) to layer with! Fun!
I have also been inspired by the colour combination of the packaging for Morrocanoil... :D Do any of you get inspired by funny random things like that for your scrapping? I do, quite a bit!
I've cut up one bright blue Purple Pumpkin doily to make "splashes" around the photos and I've used NEW "Shore" Light Blue Baker's Twine to replicate the wavy movement of the swimming pool. Love that heart button there too... all these lovely goodies are from Purple Pumpkin's store. :)
