Project Life Fun with PP Goodies:)

Hey there! Lizzy with you today....with my monthly Project Life post...& a couple of little hints you might find helpful:)

Sometimes the PL cards might be the right colour - but in this case, the umbrella just didn't work, so...
I covered it up with this lovely PP button! Doesn't it go nicely with the polka dot background?!!!
Added in some text with my Motex Writer....simple solution:):)
Can't go past some tickets...especially since we'd been to the movies. Using a stapler is quick & simple, & adding a little stamp....gives that extra bit of meaning:)
And how about adding a tag for the date? As I've said, I usually do PL by the month....the tag, button & twine are all PP....I LOOOVE the pop of colour those summery buttons bring. And they fit really well inside the PL plastic sleeves. Here's my full page ~ 1/2 of the 2 I did....but I figure two pages would be stretching your reading patience. So one is what you get. And I photographed it BEFORE I put it into the plastic this time! Much easier to see!
The 'hello' is a big SRM sticker & there's nothing wrong with writing on photos...as you can see,  I'm rather fond of doing that. Some I've edited on my i phone before printing. One of my FAVEST of apps is Pixlr Express. LOVE it!!!
Thanks for looking ~ happy scrapping ~ Lizzy ♥♥♥

Always....

Sorry for the latness....

I have been away with Emma in Sydney and just finally catching up on life itself.

I so hope it will get back to normality again real soon.

Today I want to share a layout I created for STUCK sketches.

Here are some close ups:

I have used the layered felt heart, tickets, spotty button and a fabric heart button for a cluster on my layout.

I love the heart runner washi tape.

And of course another spotty button.

Thankyou for stopping by....

Have you checked out this months sketch challenge??? We would love to see some more entries for this month.

My Girl ~ Lizzy Hill

Oh, how I WISH I had a girl!!! But I have lotsa step grand-daughters & even a great-grand daughter...who feature here:)
And look at those lovely girly colours! PP has a splendid range of brights...here I've used a bunch of buttons, a felt flower...
...& a felt heart layered over a crocheted doily....nothing like staples to attach your embellies at times - especially if they are gold.
I actually used a fair bit of gold on this page, since Gold seems to be the "Flavour of the Moment":):)
Thanks for looking & happy scrapping ~ Lizzy ♥♥♥

Boy fun - layout by Yvonne Yam

This layout was totally inspired by the need to use up the Graphic 45 patterned paper scraps! Of course, I pulled out my matching Purple Pumpkin embellishments to help me complete it...:)

I used a large fabric button and washi tape from the Purple Pumpkin store....:)

Cheers,
Yvonne

Hello...Helloo....

Today I would like to share a layout I created for STUCK.
I had a lot of fun creating the background by stamping with paint and then spraying water to create drips down my page.
Thankyou to Jen Hall for taking some portraits of ME !!!

Here are a few close ups of felt buttons and heart fabric button:

And I thought the heart washi tape matched perfectly:

And I couldn't resist a spotty button:

I also wanted to share another layout which I just did because!!

I love the crochet doileys...they can slot in anywhere and match all kinds of styles...

And I thought this cute little flair button and ticket matched perfectly with my down on the beach theme layout:

Thanks for popping by to have a look see...

Will catch you all later when I get back from Sydney with my daughter who is having an op done on her leg.

HEARTFELT THANKS.....

Hey there! Lizzy with you today, with a page I recently completed for CSI....I made my own heart mask, then used another 'little dots' one over the top.....It's all about how Lucas [bless him!] brought flowers to his Mum [with Dad's help!!]. She was so tickled pink, she popped this photo up on Face Book...so, naturally, it being February & Valentine's...I thought I'd scrap it:):)
Below you can see I've layered up a doily with a pretty, pretty button....added a twine bow....
I couldn't resist using those cute tickets a little bit differently, too....adding some stamped banners & brads to them.
It's all about 'love' in life, in the end, right?!!
Thanks for looking! Lizzy ♥♥♥

An eclectic mix on a card - by Yvonne Yam

Purple Pumpkin fabric buttons are my go-to embellishment whenever I compose an embellishment cluster. They add that perfect bit of texture and dimension without the bulk.

On this card, I used a Pumpkin Pumpkin polka-dot pink fabric button along with a Purple Pumpkin ticket. They work well with the feather, paper blooms and charm for an eclectic embellishment cluster.

Cheers,
Yvonne

Helloo...Hellooo

Today I would like to share a layout that I created for a Guest DT for Sketches with A Twist.
I was honoured to be asked and when I seen the sketch I just knew all the Purple Pumpkin embellishments that I wanted to use on my layout.
My daughter took the photos last year when I was in shock turning 40!!! I don't often do "pink" layouts....not bright enough for me!!1LOL

Here are a few close ups of the buttons. I love to wrap twine around them.

And the lollipop button has so many layers and is beautiful for layouts.

And of course, who could not put a spotty button on a layout....they are my fav!!

Thanks for stopping by today.

If you are looking for a challenge, why not have a look at this months Purple Pumpkin Sketch.

Catch you all later

"Photo shoot" by Arnlaug Koppang

This weekend we had a crop on the internett with a bunch of my norwegian scrap-friends:-) On of the challenges was to lift a great layout by Elisabeth. She is one of my favorite scrappers so it was so fun to try to lift her:-)

The layout was made by splashing some mist on the background using baking paper:-) Then I layered all the element and it was a quick and fun page to do:-)

As usual the Purple Pumpkin goodies are perfect:-) On this page I have used a crochet doily, a fabric button and a wooden button from the Purple Pumpkin shop.

Thanks for looking:-)

Saturday Photo Love - layout by Yvonne Yam

Hello there Purple Pumpkin fans! It's Yvonne here to share a layout about my fave little people - my niece and nephew!

I love that I finally got to use the Purple Pumpkin fabric cherry button for the little "scene" of foliage behind the kids. Yes, I tend to hoard my faves from the Purple Pumpkin store because designs are not repeated once they've sold out.
