Happy Christmas from Sarah G

Hi everyone - how are your Christmas preparations going. Better than mine I hope. I have really not been organised this year and the days seem to have just sneaked past :)
Anyway I have a couple of pages to share today.

I took this photo of Sophie at the weekend. we were waiting for the Santa train to take us to the Waiuku Christmas wonderland. She looked so adorable in her dress and her favourite summer hat. She made the little glove herself from a pair of her sisters old stockings that had been put in the rubbish! She really does have her own sense of style!
I used papers from a variety of manufacturers including Heidi Swapp, October Afternoon and Amy Tan. The gorgeous string of pearls and the fabric heart button are from Purple Pumpkin and they really help to create the perfect atmosphere for the photo.

The second page that I have to share is 'Christmas Kiss'

I took the photos last weekend after Sophie and Benji had danced in their Xmas show. It was Benji's very first time on the stage and he did so well and looked so cute. Sophie did a great job of her dances too - her confidence has really soared over the last 12 months. We are all very proud of her. As I stood them under the Xmas tree to take their photos Sophie spontaneously turned to her little brother and kissed him on the cheek saying 'I am so glad that you are my baby brother. I love you'. It was such a sweet moment that I wanted to scrap about it right away before it was forgotten.
The papers I used are mainly from October Afternoon's 'Midway' collection. They matched the colour and mood of my photos really well. The gorgeous buttons are ofcourse from Purple Pumpkin!! Here is a wee close up:

The bakers twine and washi tape are also from Purple Pumpkin. They really do add the finishing touch to a page!
Have a great Christmas wherever you are and that Santa is good to you and your family :)

Sarah G :)
