PROJECT LIFE ~ Lizzy Hill ~ The Process

Hi there! If you're a bit of PLer....then you might like to take a squiz at this ~ it's the PROCESS I use to create a page. Sometimes!!!

Step 1: I choose my plastic folder, then print off the photos I want to use for the month [February here]. You can see I have all sorts of shapes & sizes. That's OK!

Then I shuffle until happy!

  Step 2: Work out what 'backing' cards look best...because of the variety of photo shapes & colours, I tried to keep the backgrounds uniform & muted.

Think about the places I want/need room to journal...

 Step 3: Use a 1/4" corner punch & round off those corners.

Add some 'interest'...out came my PP CHIPPY WORDS, WASHI, BUTTONS...

 Step 4: Add some stamping, the journaling, some titles...generally make things look pretty:)

 Of COURSE you can stamp on photos...long as you use archival ink like Staz On or Ranger Archival...

 And one side of my finished Feb 14 PL spread:):)

Hello there! It's Yvonne here to share a fun layout about my fave little people - my nephew and niece! :) These two are just sooooooo adorable!

And I love that the Purple Pumpkin store has a huge variety of fun products that help to make scrapbooking them so much easier. I used a paper doiley, a ticket and a fabulous crochet bloom.

For a challenge over at Jenni Bowlin I created this layout using one of their kits and of course some of Purple Pumpkin's fabulous stuff! Do you know what I used? A fantastic orange spotty fabric button, two orange tickets and a beautiful crochet doily:

And a piece of my favorite washi tape, the red one with the small hearts:

Todays share is a layout I created for A2ZScraplet monthly challenge using a Pagemap sketch.

Had some fun with this layout...I loved the circles which I thought would match perfectly with my doileys.

Another layout I would like to share is a layout created for Show Us Your Stuff.
It is based on an inspirational photo of a cake.

This is my layout - loved the circles and colours plus I wanted to put lots of layers on my layout to match the layers of the cake.

Lizzy Hill ~ Wishing I was HERE!

 And below, I thought I'd share how I used some washi...backed it onto white card, then attached it to this little frame with I filled with Glossy Accents - added some Crackle Accents on the frame itself!

Hello There....

Hello...

Well I hope everyone is enjoying the school holidays. The first term went so quick...good that way.
My girls are going to be kicking back in their PJ's and relaxing.

Today I'm sharing the Stuck layout for the 1st April release.

Had a lot of fun creating this layout...sort of matched the fun my 3 girls were having at the park on this particular day.

Layering of dolieys and a fabric button looks so good together.

Tickets are great to stick out from behind embellishments.

If you would ask me what my favorite product is in the Purple Pumpkin store I would say the FABRIC buttons!! They are so awesome! There're so many different designs, colors, sizes ... there's always one that is just perfect for your project!!

Like this layout I created with a sketch from Creative Scrappers and the "Welcome Spring" collection from Imaginisce. I kept feeling something was missing until I thought of the PP tree fabric button!

A Layout about a Dog - Lizzy Hill

Hey there! My most favest Purple Pumpkin shop goodie I've used on this page is the doggy button. It has such PERSONALITY!!

LOL! See what I mean? Here's my Wally dog page that I made for a Kreative Koncepts challenge featuring this button:

I also used my MOTEX WRITER - a hint - back it onto cardstock....makes it easier to attach!

And of course, I've stamped then tucked a few tickets around the show - here's one tucked in above Wally's photo:

The latest buzz layout by Yvonne Yam

Little kids are always happy when they are out, basking in the sun, like my niece and nephew....

I used a crochet bloom as a "frame" for my punched out circle photo and a fun crochet butterfly from the Purple Pumpkin store.

Here I added a fun floral fabric button and some small crochet blooms. Definitely lots of fun stuff at the Purple Pumpkin store that you can add to your layouts.
