The months are flying by so fast, can you believe it is nearly mid May and Mothers Day has been and gone!
As the days fly by in our hectic lives, we must remember to pull out the camera and capture those special moments we need to scrapbook. Even if we don't always have enough time to sit and scrap, photos still need to be taken so when you do have the time to scrap...you haven't missed out on any of those important moments that need to be recorded in your albums.
Little things count too, not just the big events like birthday and christmas and 'firsts'. The quiet play of our children, the hug between a father & son, the sunset at your home that captures you each day. Remember to pull out your camera so you always have this memory and can write the story down that goes with it.
In the photos in the layout below, myself & my babies were visiting friends, it was nearly bedtime and all the kids were bathed and quietly playing. We looked over and there was my Bronte being read a story by my friend Peta's Sienna...who is all of 3 years old. She was telling the story in her own words, and omg was Bronte intrigued!! Of course I whipped the camera out to capture this and just love the photos I ended up with.
In this layout I have created a cluster which is 3/4 made up of Purple Pumpkin pieces including a spotty button top, a lollipop flower and a gorgeous little teddy bear button. It doesn't matter what topic you are scrapping, there is sure to be a Purple Pumpkin button to match. You really don't need much more in the way of embellishments when you have a stash of Purple Pumpkin goodies!
Thanks for visiting the Purple Pumpkin blog, and I hope you all managed to secure your goodies on Friday night...another SELL OUT sale!!
