Poor Little Man - Sarah G

Look at that little face - doesn't it just break your heart? The tradgedy this time was that someone had finished off the last slice of cake and Benji was just distraught! I couldn't resist snapping a couple of photos of his 'sad' face before scooping him up for a big cuddle (and a bowl of ice-cream to make up lol).
Anyway, these gorgeous Pink Paislee (Portfolio) papers and the equally gorgeous collection from Heidi Swapp were a perfect match for Benji's t-shirt. I love the combination of teal, yellow and black for 'boy' pages! I used a couple of masks to ink my background page before arranging a collage of paper pieces, journaling cards and tags to mat my photos. The Heide Swapp polaroid frame was a great place to house my title and journaling.
Now for the purple Pumpkin goodies. The cup cake button was perfect to emphasise the reason for my little man's tears. The teal tickets were also a perfect match for the colours in my papers and photos. I used them as a border under one of my photos and as a single accent next to the other.

A little machine stitching finished off the page. Oh and check out that music note washi tape and the bakers twine attached to my tags - both from Purple Pumpkin!
Hope you are having a great week - with lots of time for crafting!

Carry laughter with you - By Crece

Hello from me, Crece...today I would like to share a layout with you that I created the other day. I would also like to extend a warm welcome to the new Design Team members for Purple Pumpkin, I cant wait to read all about you in your introductions on the blog.

Now onto my layout...

It is titled 'Carry laughter with you wherever you go' It is a layout of my youngest son, Fletcher, dressed as a clown from a few years ago for a school event he had.
I have used a few Purple Pumpkin goodies that can be found on the online shop here.

and now for some close ups...

I have used a few buttons in this little cluster... an extra large Dark Blue button, fluffy yellow button and a cool carebear bottle cap.  The bottle caps are so cute, and carebears come in all different colours so they can work well with most paper ranges.

I love the cute little cloud button, it comes in a cool pack with a cute little sheep too. I have also used some blue/white twine and crossed it over on the side paper I used.

Thanks for looking, don't forget to join in the fun with our Sketch challenge

Hello From Debbie!

A big hello to everyone!

My name is Debbie Burns, and I live in the state of Maryland in the USA.  I'm so excited to be a part of the amazing design team at the Purple Pumpkin.   Here is a little bit about me.

I'm a single mom to two grown children, a son and daughter.  I have one precious fur baby, my dog Zoey.  If I'm not busy creating in my scrapbook room you can find me outdoors (weather permitting) working in my flower gardens!

I have been scrapbooking for over 13years now.  I was given a completed scrapbook album as a birthday gift and thought it was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen.  I went to a Creative Memories beginner scrapbook class and was hooked!  I don't have a defined style of scrapbooking.  I like a little bit of everything,  CAS, Shabby Chic and recently I have dived into a little mixed media.   You can find my blog here

Here are some of my favorite layouts using Purple Pumpkin products:

I am so thrilled to be a part of the Purple Pumpkin design team and can't wait to share my layouts with you over the next six months!  I want to thank Sam and Sandra for this wonderful opportunity!

Hi from Judith

Good evening everyone. Hope you’re having a great weekend. It’s been a beautiful sunny day here in Victoria.

Welcome to my first post as a member of the Design Team here at Purple Pumpkin. Can I first say I am absolutely thrilled to be here I have long used and loved Purple Pumpkin products on my layouts.

This first post is a bit of an introduction to me.

My name is Judith Armstrong. I live in country Victoria with my husband Robert and my 2 teenage children (15 and 14) and assorted pets (read rabbit and 2 semi feral cats). At present I’m a stay at home mum who works part-time from home.

I have been scrapbooking for over 6 years now (where has the time gone). My daughter originally started scrapping first when she went to classes at our local scrapbook shop. At first I wasn’t sure about it but then thought it would be good for scrapping some of my old family photos. Then I discovered the online world of scrapping and I was away. And as they say the rest is history. I became addicted and must admit I haven’t scrapped too many of those old family photos. I am now lucky enough to have my own scrapbooking room, with ever expanding sets of shelves and cupboards to house my rather large scrapping hoard.

I’m not sure I have a particular style. I tend to choose the style to go with the photo/s, whether that is clean and simple or shabby chic or whatever. However, I love using handmade products and at least one normally makes it way onto my layouts. You can find my blog here.

I’ve had quite a few guest designer spots and one full design team position many years ago. I’ve been lucky enough to be published quite a few times in Scrapbooking Memories.
Besides scrapping, I’m interested in genealogy, gardening and photography.

I’m looking forward to time here over the next six months. In the meantime here are 3 of my favourite layouts that I’ve done in the past 12 months containing some wonderful Purple Pumpkin products.

In Another accident I have used a yellow spotty button and vinyl yellow star round.

In Big Blow I have used a red spotty button and XL dark blue star button. These large starry button are one of my favourites at the moment.

Finally, in this layout I have an XL orange star button, orange tickets and dark blue star washi tape.

Well that's it from me for now. I look forward to sharing more of my work over the next six months.

"Princess" by Vicky

Hello ladies!
I would like to say a big "welcome" to our new designers! Their work is fantastic and I can't wait to see their creations with PP products!!!

Today I am sharing what I made for my sweet princess Nefeli using the palette #130 from TCR.

All chipboard pieces were covered with gesso, then sprayed with some pink glimmer mist, glimmer glaze randomly and finally covered with stickles!

The Imaginarium Designs frame is the perfect size for the cute Purple Pumpkin heart Buttons!!!

I have also used A Purple Pumpkin doily trim (I LOVE them) which usually come in the kits and a white ticket.

Don't forget to play along using our sketch for a chance to win some yummy PP goodies!!!
Have fun and happy scrapping!!!
