Hello from Crece...

Hi everyone, hope you have been having a great week. Ive been busy creating a few projects, 2 I wish to share with you today. First up is a layout I created the other day of my two boys.

And here is a close up..

Ive used some awesome Washi Tape, spotted button, vinyl cogs and a rocket button from a boys pack I got awhile ago.

This is the card I created th other day. I love red, black and white together. This card is a very simple design that can be reproduced anytime, and with any colour combo of washi tapes.

Thanks for looking, dont forget to check out this months Sketch challenge and have a go.

"Keepin cool" by Vicky

Hello my friends!

This is a layout of my sweet DD Nefeli, chilling out at my father's pool bar in Samos!!!
I used a mask which was exactly the same as the background paper and added some gesso here and there to give some texture! I then sprayed some colors with my glimmer mists and started layering!

I print my own photos and when I replaced the black ink last time, the 1st photo didn't come out so good so I printed it again and I created that cool effect with the double pic!!

In between the photos, I have placed a PP vinyl heart!!!
You can also see here a yellow ticket on the top left!

In the photo below you can see a beautiful felt flower, a spotty button and red twine!

Thank you all for visiting PP blog today!
Have fun!!

Hello everyone! It's Chantal here to kick-start the week! :)

Happy Monday everyone!

Well, I thought I'd share an extra bright and bold layout today with you all!  What better way to start a new Spring week, hey?  Not that I need any excuse to scrap this way though!  Bright colours are just so much fun (as well as being "on trend"... LOL!)... ;D

So here is my layout, based on a recent Creative Scrappers sketch...

LOTS of doodling and outlining on this one.  Doing this with these bright Amy Tangerine papers really makes the colours pop right off the richter!!!

My Purple Pumpkin embellishment is the proverbial icing on the cake... the cherry on top... it's the perfect fabric covered button.  I received this particular button in the Girls Lucky Dip Bag... yay!  You can check out the fantastic variety of Purple Pumpkin fabric covered buttons in store here.

Here's another close-up so you can see my doodling.  I think this is a fave thing for me at the moment... doodling!

Also, I am really loving sketches at the moment!  Do you love sketches?  If you do, I do hope you join in with Purple Pumpkin's September sketch challenge!  You can check out all the deets right here!

Well, that's all from me for today, have an awesome week!!!

Cheers!

Have a great weekend!

Hello from Sarah G :)

Hi everyone. Its my turn to share a little bit of inspiration with you today and I have two pages that I recently created using my beautiful Purple Pumpkin stash :)

Here in NZ we celebrated the first day of Spring just a few days ago. This gorgeous Woodland park paper from October Afternoon reminded me of beautiful spring days and summer just around the corner (I hope!!)
I took these photos a couple of weekends ago in our garden. They are not the best quality photos but they really spoke to me - the look of pure delight on Sophie's face is priceless and I love those little bony knees on the main photo, and her little hands gripping the rope as tightly as she can. These are the details of my little girl right now that I don't ever want to forget.
The little envelope was leftover from my Kaisercraft collections and co-ordinated perfectly with the rest of the OA paper. The butterfly strip peeping out of the envelope was a happy accident. I intended to cut out individual butterflies from the butterfly paper and I popped the paper strip into the envelope to come back to it later. When I did continue working on my page several hours later I decided that I really liked the way it looked and decided to stich it down there and then!
Now for the Purple Pumpkin goodies :)
Check out that cute yellow heart - it is from Purple Pumpkin, as are the purple mini-doily and the pink polka dot button. I use PP buttons on almost every page that I make - they are just so versatile and often add just the right 'finishing touch' to a page. Oh, and the bakers twine is PP too ofcourse.

My second page uses my other current favourite patterned paper collection - Amy Tangerine

Benji is such a cute little imp and wearing his new underpants on his head is such a perfect reflection of his personality. I painted and inked my base papers to make the photos 'pop'. Just look at that cute 'Elmo' button. Isn't it just the perfect embellishment for these photos. Elmo's grin matches Benji's to a tee :)) Sometimes more can be less and in this case just one button was the perfect finishing touch to my page.

Have a great weekend wherever you are - find time to make memories and to scrap them too :)))

Hello from Crece

Happy Thursday everyone, hope this week has found you well. Today I have a few layouts I would love to quickly share with you that I have created using some awesome Purple Pumpkin products.

This layout is of my niece Mia, she is so cheeky. I recently did a class with Anne Patterson and this is the layout I created based on her class. I had a ball, and something I dont get a chance to do is create a 'girly' themed page (because I have 2 boys) so the Large dark pink polka dot button worked in well with the paper collection i chose for this layout.
Close up of Large Button, with an awesome handmade flower..created by Me!!!

The next 2 layouts, I dont think I have shared here on the Purple Pumpkin blog, but I did create them a couple of months ago and thought I had better share them seeing as they have purple pumpkin yummies on them!!!

This layout is of my 2 little boys Andrew and Fletcher, on one of our many park visits -  notice how they pose for pictures....dont get that alot, but when I do i have to snap them at every opportunity.
Here is a close up of the cluster I created using the blue polka dot and denim lollipop flower and some felt flowers I made.
Blue polka dot button works well with the colours I have used for this layout, and ties in well with the lollipop as they are made from the same material.

This layout is of me and my Buddy Tracey. We were in Melbourne a few months ago and it was freezing when we were at the markets so we bought these hats...any the title says it all 'You've got a friend in me' and she does :)
And this close up shows the ever so cute large owl button mixed with a cluster of Kaiser flowers.

Hope you have a wonderful day and make sure you check out the Purple Pumpkin Shop this Friday for all the new stock that will be available.

Thanks for looking
