HI from Tara :-)

Hi everyone!!

My name is Tara Scobie, I live in country NSW, at the foothills of the Snowy Mountains, with my beautiful little family, My partner of 13 years Mark, and our 3 gorgeous kidlets Jaiden (10), Tanika (8) and Zayne, who will be 3 tomorrow! It is such a beautiful place to live year round, with plenty to keep us busy on the weekends!

I have been scrapping, on and off for around 7 years now, but have only seriously gotten into it in the last 2 years. I am a current Scrapbooking Memories Master, which has been lots of fun!.... I wouldnt say I have a particular scrapping style, although I do tend to repeat things I like often lol... I always have plenty of white space on my pages, usually some distressing around the edges, some paint, some handwritten journalling and usually lots of colour. I don't often go for products that match, I usually reach first for any scraps that are laying about on my desk!

I was so excited to be chosen for the Purple Pumpkin design team, I have only discovered them in the past few months, but since my first parcel arrived I have used a little bit of PP on every page I have created.. I am looking forward to being on the team for the next 6 months!

I have added a few pages here for you to see how I have used some of the PP buttons... (it is quite a coincidence that all I can show are on Kraft lol). My favourite colour, as you may be able to tell from the following layouts is PINK!

I love this cute little checkered button, I think it matched in with this page fabulously!!
The button on this page is from the gorgeous girls 6 pack.... They are just the cutest!

This is a new page I just finished a couple of days ago, featuring the sweetest little panda button!

Thats it from me for now, don't forget about the next sale, on the 14th of October at 7.30!!

Hello from Sara

Hello!

My name is Sara and I am thrilled to be joining the team at Purple Pumpkin.
A little bit about me and my family. I live in mostly sunny Brisbane, QLD, with my husband, Nathan, and our two boys, Jet who is 4 and Max who is 2. I started scrapping several years ago and fell even more in love once Jet was born. I have had the pleasure of serving on several design teams and also running my own sketch blog for the past 4 years. I still don't think I have a certain style but I love to use a single large photo or several smaller ones, with great patterned papers and a splash of embellishments, especially those of the handmade variety.

I have been avid PP fan (and customer) since almost the beginning (I bought from Sam's second ever sale!). Over the last 15 months, I have never gotten tired of digging into my stash and trying to find the right embellishment from my overflowing PP basket. The PP items on all these layouts below are just the perfect touch to finishing them off.

A little caravan button on a layout of my baby Maxie.
A fancy flower on a layout about my little family
And finally, a boy button, doilie, some twine and vinyl cog on a layout of my big boy Jet.
I will leave with those today but I will be back with more to share very soon.

Hello everyone! :D

I am totally stoked to be one of the very lucky new Design Team Members here at Purple Pumpkin! Now before I go any further, please let me introduce myself...

G'day from S.A.! My name is Chantal Vandenberg, I am happily married to Jason and we have 2 totally gorgeous girls – Lucy (8) and Heidi (3).

I have now been scrapbooking for 3 years. I initially began scrapping as a fun way to preserve my family's memories, but now, it's all this and a whole lot more! I love experimenting with new techniques as well as "thrashing" the trusty faves! I just enjoy the creative "ride" when creating a layout and, in a nutshell, I would describe my style as colourful, fun and funky!

Today I'd like to share with you three of my layouts which I used in my DT application for Purple Pumpkin. :)

Firs
t up we have...

"Hug." This layout has two yummy Purple Pumpkin buttons on it Did you spy on the top right of my photo, highlighted with a round label sticker underneath, I've a sweet Pink Girls Button? So adorable! :)

This red and white polka-dotted number came from this funky Red 6 Pack...

I love this pack!!! I'll be sharing more of my creations using these beauties soon! Now, onto my next layout...

Yes, it's a double! You can click on it to make it larger if you like! Here I have used two gorgeous little doilies cut up and used on the top left and bottom right of my layout.

The really "frame" it nicely I think, and give my layout a lovely tactile feel... which I love!

I love cutting my doilies to use as an accent and to fit in my layouts as a design element. You can get such cool doilies in Purple Pumpkin's Kits. There are many kits to choose from, suiting a multitude of occasions! You can check out the kits from the latest sale (that sold out like hot cakes) right here. :)

Here's my last layout to share with you all today...

"Hello!" This layout features an orange and white polka-dotted fabric button from the Mixed Spotty Button Pack.

Even thought there are other embellishments and elements on the page (including plain ol' buttons) did you notice that it's the Purple Pumpkin button that really sets the whole layout off? I think it looks really cute there with the felt bow I made. Purple Pumpkin buttons are the perfect finishing touch!

Check out this Spotty Button image below, aren't they beauties?...

I could dive right in there, hey! :D

Well that's it from me for today! I hoped you enjoyed my share and I'm really looking forward to sharing many more of my Purple Pumpkin creations with you right here for the next six months! Yay!

Cheers and have a great weekend,
Chantal :D

My blog: Girls Just Wanna Scrapbook

Greetings from Canada

Hello Purple Pumpkin Fans!  It is my absolute pleasure today to be posting on the Purple Pumpkin blog as a new member of the design team.

My name is Tracey Taylor and I am from the east coast of Canada where I live with my three beautiful girls and wonderful husband. Scrapbooking quickly evolved from a slight interest to full blown passion after the birth of my girls. I have since had the pleasure of designing for a number of companies over the past few years and have had work published in several North American magazines. I teach classes when I get a chance and can't imagine a life without this creative outlet. This wonderful hobby keeps me learning, working and teaching all the while preserving those everyday moments that make life special. I LOVE every minute.

This is the kit that made me fall in love with Purple Pumpkin.  A girlfiriend of mine had just recently had her 2nd child, a baby boy, when this kit was released.  Since I'm living in a sea of pink with three baby girls, I bought it for her to help ease the transition from all girl scrapbooking to scrapbooking dinosaurs, lego and all things blue, black, brown and red.  She loved it.  I still do.

This is one of my first Purple Pumpkin pages.  I used all kinds of goodies from the Boats kit.

Here are a few detail shots of the beautiful buttons and flowers.

I'll leave you with that for today and am truly looking forward to the next six months sharing with all of you on this blog.

Until next time,
Tracey
