Cabochons, Buttons & Felt Spiral Flowers by Sar

I was so excited to receive another package from the lovely Sam last week! So much yumminess in one parcel!

Here's my latest layout using a gorgeous XL Girl button, a stunning yellow felt spiral flower as well as a pretty little cabochon.

No such thing as going overboard with Purple Pumpkin products, in my opinion!

This page was for Sara's Wordy Challenge over in the Scrapbook Savvy forum.

And closeups...

You best be checking in come sale time to get some of these goodies for yourself!

Cheers,
Sar

A little creation...Anne

I just wanted to share with you a LO I created last weekend. I'm sorry if you have seen it before but I wanted to share with with my Purple Pumpkin friends. This was created for the challenge at Out of the Hat.

I used one of the new felt and denim spirals.

And some of the clay buttons.

I love how the different greens play off each other.

Hope you are all having a fabulous and creative weekend, and don't forget our sketch challenge.

Happy Scrappin.

Girly Time - Hayles

Well I only have one layout to share today due to a very hectic couple of weeks but in saying that I received some gorgeous Purple Pumpkin during the week and I am hanging to use it.....

So this layout was created for the August sketch challenge at Annas Craft Cupboard

I have used heaps of inking to tie in with the green doily which is the middle part of a larger one and the new green deer button both from Purple Pumpkin!

Did you receive any goodies in the mail??
Don't forget you have still have time to do the August sketch challenge and link it up on the Purple Pumpkin blog, we love looking at your creations:)

Hope you have a great weekend planned, I know I will be scrapping!

Till next time

Happy Days...

...are being home alone and playing with my Purple Pumpkin embellishments!!

Happy Friday everyone!! Belinda here today with some layout shares for you. I always look forward to Fridays. I drop the kids off at school and deliver the school lunch orders to the bakery. While I am there I grab my favourite Friday indulgence...a London Bun. So I am sitting here on my own, typing this post and enjoying a hot coffee and my London Bun. YUMMO!!

Now that I have you drooling I better show you something pretty!! LOL

I created this first layout for the My Mind's Eye blog challenge...

The sweet apple button...

...and the spotty button...

...are just perfect for the bright and happy colours of the MME patterned papers.

This next layout was for the Handmade By Suzanne August Challenge...

...I seem to have a bit of a stockpile of Babooshka Buttons probably because I love them so...

...to make this one a bit of a feature on the page I have added it to the top of a layered doily stack surrounded by foliage, banners and toadstools.

Lastly, this layout is my very first as Design Team member over at The Color Room...

I love pink and green together and I knew that the Purple Pumpkin matching owl button...

...and tree button...

...would fit right in with this colour palette.

Well that's all from me. My coffee cup is empty and I'm off to play with some more PP goodies. I hope you have enjoyed these shares and feel inspired to play too.

Don't forget to get your entries linked up for the Aug Sketch Challenge!

Cheers
Belinda

Bring on Summer!!!!

Hello everyone, its Melinda here again :)))

Well the weather is starting to warm up here finally...well in my part of the world...lol!! I hope it stays that way...sometimes I just get so over winter and all the coughs and splutters it brings....So here are a couple of summery layouts that I have created recently using some yummy PP buttons!

1st Swimming lesson.... look how adorable that little seal button is....I have inked the edges to tie into my colour scheme.

Close up...

Loving the colours in this layout...something different for me....but the Sasslass papers screamed fussy cutting and all things summer!!

I have added a gorgeous yellow spotty button as a flower center...perfect... and to match, a spotty rosette, which formed a lovely little cluster...

I am moving house this week and next, so hopefully I will have more to share soon...I just received my PP parcel yesterday and I am itching to get in and create something :))

Thanks for visiting and for your lovely comments :))

Do you ink? By Sar

Do you ink the edges of your Purple Pumpkin buttons?

I find that it gives them that perfect blend just to fit perfectly onto my layout. Thats just ink's purpose in general to me, I am one that has to ink everything and my page feels nakes without that inky edge on all elements!

Molly By The Sea...

I have used this inking technique on the large Pink Owl button in this cluster.

I have also used the yellow button out of the Floral Button 6 Pack in the cluster closer to the top of the page.

Thanks for visiting Purple Pumpking & see you again soon!!
