Playing with new Yummies...... Anne

Well I was lucky enough to get my parcel this week and so have been having a play with some of my new goodies.

Here is a LO I created based on the inspiration at Scrap the Boys.

I made up some of my Banner and I have to say I LUV IT!!

Here is a close up of one of the New Banner Buttons which I have coordinated with a bug button and one of my all time fav's, some Licorice Allsorts.

If you get the chance, don't forget we have our sketch challenge running again this month.

Happy Scrappin. Anne

Not just for boy layouts.......Hayles

Don't you just love how the Purple Pumpkin buttons and embellishments are PERFECT for any layout or project!!

The layout I am sharing today is a sketch from Creative Scrappers and I have really been wanting to scrap these pics of my daughter for ages but the colours were full on plus I just didn't have any embellies to suit the pics.

Alas....I then discovered the traffic kit I had stashed away for a boy layout which had some super cute buttons in it....

I have used the Large stop button which is FABBO!!! with some chipboard embellies

then the little car button with some other smaller embellies in the top LH side.

I also added some pinecone ink around the outside of both buttons, which can be quite easily done.

Well I hope you all have a great weekend planned, and enjoy!!
Till next time

Stamping on Buttons - Melinda

Hello everyone, its Melinda here :)

Hope you all have had a great week! Just quickly popping up a couple of layouts which I did for Colour Combos Galore.

The first one I did I decided to experiment with stamps.  Lets face it...we all have some in our stash and if you are like me, I buy them and don't really use them all that much.  The spotty buttons are just perfect for adding a little extra something to them.

Here  is a close up of a little stamp that that I used which came with an Ali Edward stamp pack...Just gorgeous hey...! So have a look in your stash, I am sure you have something that would be perfect to add to these buttons...And because PP buttons have a flat back, they are perfect for stamping.

Next up is a layout using a super cute XL bird button.

I did this layout for last weeks Colour Combos Galore colour palette.  Not only was the bird button the right colours but it just fitted in perfectly on my chippie frame amongst my Prima vines and flower, just like it normally would in real life :)))

Here is a close up of it.....

Sigh...PP products are the best embellishment to make any layout complete. If you haven't got yourself some of these XL buttons, write them down on your wishlist....you will not be disappointed!

If you have some time this weekend to scrap, why not start with our sketch challenge.  All you need is some PP embellishment on your layout or card and you could be the next lot of winners!

I have been madly creating but will have to show you more next time.

Thanks for visiting and for any comments left :))

Wild Things...

...is sometimes what I call my children but it also describes some of the amazing Purple Pumpkin buttons. My favourite story to read to the kids at night is "Where The Wild Things Are" because it was my favourite as a child. And hmmm... I do think I know exactly where those wild things are!! LOL Some of them are on the following layouts...

...So here is my first layout featuring the 'King of all wild things', my 'sweet' boy William using a palette and sketch from The Color Room. This is the face you get when you tell him to eat his dinner!! LOL. On this layout, I have used 2 Owl buttons, some orange and white twine and orange doilies. You can see that I have cut the centre out and used both the centre piece as well as the remaining doily ring...

...Here are some close ups of all the fabulous Purple Pumpkin products used...

...Here's a layout I created using the Prima July BAP. I have used some Purple Pumpkin Aqua and White Twine (LOVE IT!!) as well as a gorgeous bird button that matched the colour palette of the layout perfectly...

...Check out the sweet bird button nestled in amongst the flowers on the chippie branch...

...and finally, here is a layout featuring my little 'dirt girl' using the Dusty Attic July Sketch. I have used an XL Girl with Watering Can Button...

...and here's the last close up of that XL Girl with Watering Can Button. I just adore these...

Thanks for stopping by and I hope I have been able to inspire you to grab your Purple Pumpkin stash and give the fabulous August Sketch a go.

Have a great day.

When Just 1 Button Will Do - By Sar

You don't need to throw every Purple Pumpkin button you own on your page to make it look fab - sometimes just one button will do!

Here's a couple of layouts I've done recently where I've been able to use just one perfect Purple Pumpkin button to finish my page off.

Grandma's Baby Boy - using a Pagemaps sketch and just one of the Floral Buttons.

And a closeup...

Next up is Cooper's Certificates, a special page using a Kaiser folder sleeve to hold his merit cards and awards from school. Again I've only used one Red Zig Zag button.

Thanks for visiting, and see you here again soon for some more Purple Pumpkin yumminess from the rest of our Design Team!

Cheers,
Sar
