Hello..

Hello everyone...
Well its almost the end of another month...my this year is going fast.

Today I would like to share a layout I completed for Anna's Craftcupboard Monthly sketch.

I am loving the fabric buttons at the moment- suppose its that time of the year when you want warmth and this deep pink coloured button reflects that in my layout.

Another layout which I have completed..... is a "just because" layout.

Love the fabric buttons again.. nice and bright!!

Thanks for stopping by today...
have you looked at this months sketch....you still have time to pop your entry into our gallery.

Bye

Some PL ideas from Lizzy!

Hi there! I seem to have fallen into the pattern of sharing my PL with you once a month - which is all I do it, actually!
IDEA 1: You can fussy cut your cards to suit/fit the pocket better:
The finished pocket - note the  CUTE PP bottle cap embellie!
TIP 2: You can cut your cards to create a 'border' for your photo, if the card isn't big enough but you still want the design on it to show:
This also allows room to write/add stamps at the bottom too. The flip side:
TIP 3: I used the PP tickets to write a little journaling on!
Of course, my Motex writer & buttons came in handy! And my completed page:
This month I wanted to experiment with using mainly black & white photos.....for one page, anyways - I think it turned out OK...for my mobile phone photos, it was good, as it seemed to 'hide' the not so good quality shots!
Thanks for looking & happy scrapping ~ Lizzy ♥♥♥
PS: you can find a similar cute PANDA button HERE!

1,2 & 3 layout by Yvonne Yam

I have a thing for circles on my layouts. They are great for hiding awkward corners and help to pull together an embellishment cluster.

Try adding a round button to bring attention to your photo.

Or add a fabric button from the Purple Pumpkin store as part of your journaling block. :)

Cheers,
Yvonne

A Couple of Cards ~ Lizzy Hill

Hey there! I haven't made any cards for Purple Pumpkin for a while....& have some LOVELY YoYo flowers that I thought would work quite nicely

....here's the whole card:
The wood ticket had a faded pattern, so I stamped the sentiment on it! And since I was getting my scrap on, I did a 2nd card:
It's amazing what a bit of pretty patterned paper & a few other shabby elements can do:) The chippy is covered in gesso, as are the Purple Pumpkin TICKETS tucked under the flowers:)
I hope this inspires you to do some card making:):) Thanks for looking ~ Lizzy ♥♥♥

My space mixed media canvas by Yvonne Yam

One of my absolute fave products from the Purple Pumpkin store are the blooms. I always pick one as a focal point for my mixed media canvases.

Then I just add little bits and pieces around the bloom to form an embellishment cluster. :) There's always something new in the Purple Pumpkin store. Hope you find a bloom you like!

Cheers,
Yvonne

Hello...

Wow..
Perfect weather still in Tumut.
At least the washing is still getting dry outside which is not normal for this time of the year.

Today I would like to share a layout with you that I created for STUCK sketches.

I loved the ice-cream fabric buttons when I received them in my DT pack.
Great for those summery and bright layouts which I love to create.

Here is a close ups:

I love all the washi tapes available at Purple Pumpkin too....so many colours and themes...

thanks for stopping by on the blog today.
Hope I have inspired you all to go away and create.

Bye
