PROJECT LIFE ~ Lizzy Hill ~ The Process

Hi there! If you're a bit of PLer....then you might like to take a squiz at this ~ it's the PROCESS I use to create a page. Sometimes!!!
Step 1: I choose my plastic folder, then print off the photos I want to use for the month [February here]. You can see I have all sorts of shapes & sizes. That's OK!
Then I shuffle until happy!
Step 2: Work out what 'backing' cards look best...because of the variety of photo shapes & colours, I tried to keep the backgrounds uniform & muted.
Think about the places I want/need room to journal...
Step 3: Use a 1/4" corner punch & round off those corners.
Add some 'interest'...out came my PP CHIPPY WORDS, WASHI, BUTTONS...
Step 4: Add some stamping, the journaling, some titles...generally make things look pretty:)
Of COURSE you can stamp on photos...long as you use archival ink like Staz On or Ranger Archival...

And one side of my finished Feb 14 PL spread:):)
Thanks for looking ~ happy scrapping ~ Lizzy ♥♥♥

We love to play - layout by Yvonne Yam

Hello there! It's Yvonne here to share a fun layout about my fave little people - my nephew and niece! :) These two are just sooooooo adorable!

And I love that the Purple Pumpkin store has a huge variety of fun products that help to make scrapbooking them so much easier. I used a paper doiley, a ticket and a fabulous crochet bloom.

Live while we're young! - Monique Liedtke

I've told you before that my daughter is a huge One Direction fan and that means I've got a lot of photos of her wearing this 1D hoodie:

For a challenge over at Jenni Bowlin I created this layout using one of their kits and of course some of Purple Pumpkin's fabulous stuff! Do you know what I used? A fantastic orange spotty fabric button, two orange tickets and a beautiful crochet doily:

And a piece of my favorite washi tape, the red one with the small hearts:

Hope you liked my page and that I've inspired you to do some scrapping today! And if I did, maybe you feel like joining in with this month's sketch challenge (designed by me!)? There's still time to enter!! I would really love it if you did!!!

Thank you so much for stopping by!
Hugs,
Monique

Hello...hello...

Hope everybody is having a great day so far today...
Who got breakie in bed or maybe taken out for breakfast???

Todays share is a layout I created for A2ZScraplet monthly challenge using a Pagemap sketch.

Had some fun with this layout...I loved the circles which I thought would match perfectly with my doileys.

Here are some close ups:

Another layout I would like to share is a layout created for Show Us Your Stuff.
It is based on an inspirational photo of a cake.

This is my layout - loved the circles and colours plus I wanted to put lots of layers on my layout to match the layers of the cake.

here are a few close ups:

Well...

Better head off and see what the rest of the family are up too...they may have eaten all my easter eggs off easter bunny!!!
Thanks for stopping by today.
Hope you enjoy the rest of your day - creating the rest of the day would be even better!!!LOL

Bye

Lizzy Hill ~ Wishing I was HERE!

And 'here' would be Paris. Sigh. Did this last month for CSI, where I was lucky enough to be featured!
Can you see the Purple Pumpkin Store Star...or flower, actually!!!
And below, I thought I'd share how I used some washi...backed it onto white card, then attached it to this little frame with I filled with Glossy Accents - added some Crackle Accents on the frame itself!
Thanks for looking ~ happy scrapping ~ Lizzy ♥♥♥

Today is perfect - Monique Liedtke

Last month I joined a mood board challenge over the Hip Kit Club and I created this layout with Crate Paper's "Styleboard" collection and of course a few of Purple Pumpkin's goodies:

I used the super fun yellow dotted fabric button

There're so many fun goodies to choose from in the Purple Pumpkin store, often I just can't choose what to use!

Hope I've inspired you to scrap a bit today!

Thanks for stopping by!
