R you ready? layout by Yvonne Yam

Hello there! It's Yvonne here to share a layout about my fave little people - my 3 nephews and 1 niece.

It's always a challenge to get them smiling at the camera at the same time! *LOL*

I love that there's always a fun flair badge to add to my layout from the Purple Pumpkin store. :)

A Trio + One Extra...

...of cards!!! Yup, couldn't resist the Scrap Friends challenge this month, so I used this cute kit full of PP goodies in my DT package:
And created FOUR cards! I used my own card stock, added some inks & mists...but that's about it!

I traced around a pattern for the leaves & cut them out of the felt...
Here's my second card - made for a friend who is a music teacher ~ the music note buttons worked a treat!
Liquid Pearls work really well for the butterfly 'bodies!
 #3
The rest of the felt I die cut into a flower & layered it up. The tickets were the wrong colour - so I simply used a marker & made the pink lines black!!
Even after doing all this, I still had a few butterflies & a die cut left, so I made one final card:):)
These were all so quick & easy to make & I really enjoyed creating them with this little kit! The PP Shop has a great range of goodies....well worth having a browse:):)

Project Life Fun with PP Goodies:)

Hey there! Lizzy with you today....with my monthly Project Life post...& a couple of little hints you might find helpful:)

Sometimes the PL cards might be the right colour - but in this case, the umbrella just didn't work, so...
I covered it up with this lovely PP button! Doesn't it go nicely with the polka dot background?!!!
Added in some text with my Motex Writer....simple solution:):)
Can't go past some tickets...especially since we'd been to the movies. Using a stapler is quick & simple, & adding a little stamp....gives that extra bit of meaning:)
And how about adding a tag for the date? As I've said, I usually do PL by the month....the tag, button & twine are all PP....I LOOOVE the pop of colour those summery buttons bring. And they fit really well inside the PL plastic sleeves. Here's my full page ~ 1/2 of the 2 I did....but I figure two pages would be stretching your reading patience. So one is what you get. And I photographed it BEFORE I put it into the plastic this time! Much easier to see!
The 'hello' is a big SRM sticker & there's nothing wrong with writing on photos...as you can see,  I'm rather fond of doing that. Some I've edited on my i phone before printing. One of my FAVEST of apps is Pixlr Express. LOVE it!!!

Always....

Sorry for the latness....

I have been away with Emma in Sydney and just finally catching up on life itself.

I so hope it will get back to normality again real soon.

Today I want to share a layout I created for STUCK sketches.

Here are some close ups:

I have used the layered felt heart, tickets, spotty button and a fabric heart button for a cluster on my layout.

I love the heart runner washi tape.

And of course another spotty button.

Thankyou for stopping by....

Have you checked out this months sketch challenge??? We would love to see some more entries for this month.

My Girl ~ Lizzy Hill

Oh, how I WISH I had a girl!!! But I have lotsa step grand-daughters & even a great-grand daughter...who feature here:)
And look at those lovely girly colours! PP has a splendid range of brights...here I've used a bunch of buttons, a felt flower...
...& a felt heart layered over a crocheted doily....nothing like staples to attach your embellies at times - especially if they are gold.
I actually used a fair bit of gold on this page, since Gold seems to be the "Flavour of the Moment":):)
Thanks for looking & happy scrapping ~ Lizzy ♥♥♥

Boy fun - layout by Yvonne Yam

This layout was totally inspired by the need to use up the Graphic 45 patterned paper scraps! Of course, I pulled out my matching Purple Pumpkin embellishments to help me complete it...:)

I used a large fabric button and washi tape from the Purple Pumpkin store....:)

Cheers,
Yvonne
