"once upon a time" by Arnlaug Koppang

Hi everyone!

I had planned to show you a christmas project today, but my project had a little accident before I got a picture of it, so you'll get an early spring layout instead;-)

Our family always try to spend a lot of time outside, and this cold spring day was perfect for a walk in the woods:-)

On this page I used a neutral color palette with a touch of red.  I've used a few wooden buttons and some washi tape from the Purple Pumpkin store.

I really love this layout as I find it capturing the magical moment in the woods:-)

I want to wish you all a wonderful christmas celebrating tomorrow and the following days:-)

Good bye from Judith

Well, it's a very sad day for me today. My last blog post as a Design Team Member for Purple Pumpkin. First I would like to thank Samantha and Sandra for giving me the opportunity to work with their wonderful creations. I have been a big Purple Pumpkin fan from way back so to design with them has been marvellous.
I thought I'd finish up with a look back at 5 of my favourite Purple Pumpkin creations during my 15 months on the team.\ showing a variety of styles and using some of my favourite Purple Pumpkin products.

First up a grungy boy layout featuring a spotty button, a vinyl heart and fabric star button and a doily.

I love my brights and here is a layout showing some of the bright embellishments PP has including vinyl round and cogs, another spotty button and a felt square embellishment.

Thirdly, another bright layout featuring a flair button and a doily.

Fourthly, a more shabby/ mixed media layout featuring fabric buttons, doilies and a felt lace flower.

Finally, as it's Christmas a Christmas layout featuring everybody's favourites - spotty fabric buttons.

Hope you've enjoyed looking back at some of my layouts. I'm looking forward to seeing what the new Design Team produce.
Finally, I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year

Good bye

Judith xx

"4 years" - by Arnlaug Koppang

Hi everybody!

This weekend my youngest daughter turned 3 years old:-) I haven't scrapped her yet, but I'm in that birthday celebrating mood so I thought I could show you the layout from when my oldest one turned 4.

This layout is made by layering lots of scraps and covering it with different kinds of media. Then I sprayed it all with glimmermist.

In the Purple Pumpkin store there are so many happy and bright embellishments, perfect for a birthday layout!

I've used a big spotty button and a flair button with a cupcake on:-)

I also used a star and a butterfly button.

Hope you're all enjoying your christmas preperations:-)

Oh baby....layout by Yvonne Yam

Hello there! It's Yvonne here to share a layout about my niece and her doll! She was thrilled when I presented her a piece of green cloth to wrap her "bundle-of-joy" in...the long-forgotten doll is a treasured toy again! *LOL*

I used my faves here from the Purple Pumpkin store...a green ticket, star washi tape, crochet trim and a flair button! :)

Remember by Jess Mackenzie

Hey there lovely Purple Pumpkin fans!

Today I have another CSI case file to share with you. It seems that my Purple Pumpkin stash is the go to for embellishments when I'm doing a challenge at CSI!

Here is my layout:

Here I have used a gorgeous spotty fabric button & some twine

How lubbly jubbly are these wooden heart buttons:

Thankyou so much for checking out the PP blog!

Don't forget to give the December sketch a go :)

Love and Peace xox

Ahoy there by Judith Armstrong

Morning all. Today I have a 'just because' layout to share with you  featuring lots of Purple Pumpkin goodies.  I actually started it on retreat at the beginning of October but am only getting around to sharing it now. This a photo of my son at SeaWorld in Queensland.

Some close up shots of the Purple Pumpkin goodies used. First up a skull and crossbones resin cameo. I have wound some red twine around it to make it stand out more against the black cog.

Next I have used a skull and crossbones flair button situated atop a black vinyl cog.

Thanks for looking and I'll be back next week with my final blog post :(
