Giddy Up by Judith

Good morning. Last weekend, I went on my first scrapbooking retreat and had a fun time. This is one of the layouts I created whilst there.

This is my daughter having a pony ride at the local Melbourne Cup Day in the Park show. Sadly, it is no longer run. I wanted to create a kind of cowboy/wildwest feel the layout. I used October Afternoon Sasparilla patterned paper and stickers. I added some hessian, corrugated card and some chicken wire stencilling to make it a little more rugged. Then I added some Purple Pumpkin embellies to match.

A tag made from lace scraps by Yvonne Yam

Hello there friends! What can you do with little bits of leftover lace scraps? You can use them all on a tag!

I picked out this fabulous floral fabric button from Purple Pumpkin, then worked in the rest of the elements in similar hues to match.

"Beach life" by Arnlaug Koppang

Hi everybody! I am so excited today as this is my first share as a part of the Purple Pumpkin design team!
From the day I discovered this shop I've been in love with all these unique, colorful and fun products!

It's autumn here in Norway now and that means it's a perfect time to scrap the summer photos. I have so many of them so sometimes I like to put a few together on a page and make the pics smaller to make room for some white space aswell to some great embellishments:-)

Making this layout I stated out by spraying on some goosebumps that repels other mediums and when it had dried I added some glimmer mist. Then I used modeling paste and a few rubons.

On my page I have used some various products from the shop. There are so many different buttons in there and this pink one with the cloud was perfect for my project! In addition, I used a yellow ticket and some twine.

October sketch challenge and an announcement!!!

Hello wonderful Purple Pumpkin friends!!!

We have a new inspirational sketch for you designed by Debbie Burns and gorgeous layouts by our talented Design Team which  grows bigger today!!!

We have decided to change the DT terms to January-June and July-December. That means that we are going to have a DT call in late November. Until then, we have asked two very talented ladies to join our team!!! Please welcome.......

Hi! My name is Arnlaug Koppang and I'm a 31 year old "girl" from a small island at the west coast of Norway. I've been scrapping since 2008 but I would say it's the last 2 years my creativity really hit the surface. And now I'm totally in love with this hobby;-)  I love scrapping because it's a hobby for both memory keeping and creating art. When I scrap my mind relaxes and takes me away from the busy everyday life.

I'm currently on the design team for a great sketch blog in NORWAY, Skissedilla. The blog is one of the big ones in Norway and we now get more and more international contributors as well. I am a scrapper with a lot of variety and can't say I have one particular style. But I have to say I'm having a blast when I'm playing with mixed media:-)

Hiya I'm Jess. I am a wife, a mother to a 5 year old boy & lover of all things crafty! Oh and I also have 2 fur babies as well. I have been scrapping for about 3 years now and really love it. I love everything from choosing papers & embellishments, to the whole process of putting a layout together! 

I guess you could say my style is layered, a little arty & a bit simplistic with lots of little details. 

I also enjoy other arty crafty things like painting, art journalling & sewing.

I'm so thrilled be part of the Purple Pumpkin team. I love the versatility of the products, they are so fun and easy to create with!

"All grown up" By Vicky Varvadouka

"All Grown Up"

Hello my friends!

A while ago I made this layout which is all about the friendship between my little girls and my
Godchild Andriana! They've known each other since they were
 born and they feel like sisters! 

To create the background, I have used two stencils and texture paste.
 I then used orange and light blue chalk inks as well as some
glimmer mists to give colour! I have also stamped randomly around
 the page with background stamps.

You can see a cute little Purple Pumpkin flair button with tiny hearts!

The light blue doily and the orange resin are from Purple Pumpkin!
