Hello from Greece!!

Today I am sharing a layout I started making at a Greek crop!

It is my DD Nefeli playing inside a slide!

For the background, I have cut a few stripes of patterned paper and have put them in the middle!

I used some brown glimmer glam and a few different size bottle tops to make the circles! Then I splashed some drops of glimmer mist and I added some stickles randomly here and there!!!

Here you can see a brown PP button and a small wooden one!

Look at these gorgeous wooden PP buttons! I love them!!!

 Roses are my favorite flowers and you will see them in almost all my projects!

This orange half doily is PP too!!!

A Ton of Fun

Hi everyone. I got back from holiday yesterday evening and I am staring at the pile of washing to be done today :( Anyway, before I tackle it I have a page to share with you. It is one that I did a few weeks ago for CSI. I haven't done anything new for a while, just enjoying the summer and taking lots of photos for future pages :)))



The photos were taken in San francisco last year. The kids loved the old carousel at Pier 39 and couldn't get enough of riding on it. My papers are October Afternoon's 'Midway' collection - perfect for this theme. Check out the PP embellies - the star button which is a great focal point for the photo block, the washi tape and ofcourse the baker's twine! I added some splodges of ink to the background and some fun 'confetti style' shapes to further emphasise the theme and add to the fun feel.

A New Year, A New Start, A New Me by Debbie

We always capture those special memories when creating layouts.  We've got that "perfect" picture depicting a birthday, a milestone, a holiday or even a trip.   But what about those those memories capturing your feelings?  When your picture isn't that perfect, but then again, it is.  I have a layout to share with you today that captures one of those moments, when the picture tells the story. 

I chose to do a layout about myself and my inner struggles with my mom's illness, Alzheimers.  The past year was an extremely difficult one for me emotionally.  It was hard for me to use this picture as I don't think it is very flattering, but it shows me in the moment, sad and lost.

My title, so befitting . . . and a beautiful Purple Pumpkin paper doily and butterfly.

Here I've used a Purple Pumpkin Fabric button which represents me looking out for my mom.

I've tucked a fabric button here

and

here I've placed a Purple Pumpkin cameo.

I hope I have inspired you with my layout.

Selfie - By Crece

 Hello Everyone, Crece here with you today to share a layout I created during the week. I love taking 'Selfie' shots of myself just for a giggle, looking through the photos on my camera I came across some 'Selfie' shots of my youngest son, Fletcher. This was the best of them all, and I just had to scrap it....

I have used a couple of Purple Pumpkin embellishments on this layout...check out the close ups...

I love stars and cogs, sometimes not always together...but they are great shapes for boy layouts

Here I have used a black with white star button and a small red vinyl cog.

...and here I have used a large black vinyl cog with a spotted red button.

'I am Blessed' Layout by Helen Tilbury

Hi there!!  Halfway through January already!  How's your 'New Year'

going so far?!  I love all the reflective layouts that January brings...

here is one from me 'counting my blessings' - my children of course!

I've used crocheted doilies from Purple Pumpkin, as well as a Cameo, 

a resin embellishment & rose & a couple of fabric covered buttons.

I love how easy it is to incorporate Purple Pumpkin embellishments

into almost every layout that I create these days, the variety is huge!

Can you see that I tucked a couple of buttons under my tag here?

This is a good way of lifting an embellishment up off of the page

& adding a bit of dimension, as the tag is now slightly raised.

Doillies are another really 'easy' embellishment to add as they

are flat yet textural so are great for all types of scrappers!

I hope you enjoyed looking at my page & it has inspired

you to dig out your Purple Pumpkin stash & get creating!!
