This is happiness! - by Monique Liedtke

Hi Purple Pumpkin fans! For today I've got a colorful Bella Blvd layout to share with you. The boy in the photo is my youngest wearing his dad's sun glasses and hat:

 I love using washi tape

and the Motex Writer:

But also loving all the bits and pieces that come with this Bella Blvd "Daily Chevies and Everyday Bits" collection like the journaling cards and the stickers. As far as I'm concerned ... the more embellishments, the better!

I hope I've given you a bit of inspiration today! Thank you so much for visiting Purple Pumpkin's blog today!

Hugs,
Monique

Some Project Life from Lizzy Hill

Hey there! I thought I'd share how I use my Motex writer when I do my Project Life pages. It's GREAT for 'adding information' to photos:
I like doing little 'corners' to also add more information!
Sometimes if you've used a 6x4" card...then need to move it...you can simply cut it to fit in 2 pockets!
I've discovered, when using my Purple Pumpkin fabric covered buttons, I can 'squash' them a bit, then they fit more easily into the pockets...& they still look great! I've used some Washi tape above...the Motex writer below:
Below is my whole page. I do my PL per MONTH. Seriously, not enough happens for me to bother weekly! That's the beauty of PL...you 'use' it how it suits best:)
And here's my other page...I use PL for ME.....it's basically a journal with pictures. I like writing, as you can see [sorry!!!]....so it 'works' for me. I would LOVE to be a neat PLer, & type up my text, but that's just not me - I'm also a bit of a lazy scrapper!!! And I figure hand writing is part of me, too:)
Whatever, however you use PL, I hope this has shown a little of how I use those Purple Pumpkin Shop 'basics' that we all love! I'll be back in the future with some of the lovely new shop bits & bobs to hopefully get you inspired some more

Friends - by Monique Liedtke

Hi Purple Pumpkin fans!
Today I've got a colorful layout for you using lots of scraps from my Webster's Pages stash. Last week they had a lot of challenges going on and I decided to play along.

I decided to scrap a photo of a day out I had with my friends.

Except for the Webster's Pages products I included some washi tape, twine, doilies and a few other bits and pieces. And of course I added a lot of machine stitching ... my pages aren't complete without it.

I hope I gave you some inspiration today! Thank you so much for visiting Purple Pumpkin's blog and I wish you happy scrapping!

Hello..Hello...

Sorry my post is so late today. I have literally got home from driving from Newcastle to Wagga and back to Tumut...an 8hr drive in total.

But I did manage to find my Mojo again while away on my mini holiday.

I decided to scrap a layout of myself which is rare. This photo was taken by Jen hall at Camp Mojo....only reason for pic of me...I'm always taking the one behind the camera and not in front !!! LOL

I have included some white tickets, fabric button and felt butterfly embellishment.

Here is a close up:

Hope I have inspired you with my creation.

Oh...and I do hope you will join in on our monthly sketch...its a beauty!!!

Bye for now....

Happy @ 49 - by Monique Liedtke

Hi Purple Pumpkin fans!!

For today I've got a layout about "me" for you. Scrapping about myself is not something I do very often, but my 17 year daughter insisted I scrap this photo of myself ... so, here it is:

For this layout I used Lily Bee's "Sweet Shoppe" collection together with a lot of other bits and pieces, like this twine, black birds washi tape, Motex tape and kraft tags

A few close-ups:

I love to add pieces of washi tape to my layouts!

Thank you so much for stopping by Purple Pumpkin's blog today! Hope to see you back soon!

Cheers,

Monique

Surprise - with Lizzy Hill

Hey there! Last year my DH had his big '80' birthday, & I've finally gotten around to scrapping it, using a great sketch from Stuck?! Lotsa lovely PP on this one! See?
I've layered my Motex writer over some yummy washi over some tickets. All from the Purple Pumpkin store!
Look at these gorgeous buttons! All PP....the little 'locators' are from Pink Paisless. Cute! And they worked here cos my DH's family all flew in to help him celebrate:)
I've used some other bits & bobs, including a run of PP twine down the side of the photos...
...& the 'hello' is because he got such a surprise when they all turned up, that that's all he could say!!! Hope you enjoyed looking at this one & it gets you inspired to get creative!
Happy Scrapping ~ Lizzy ♥♥♥

A place for rest - by Arnlaug Koppang

Hi Purple Pumpkin lovers:-)

Today I want to show you one of my favorite places in the world, the place where my grandmother lives. There is no place I relax more then here and it's so beautiful between the massive mountains. This picture I took on one of my many walks and it is a perfect place to rest.

On this layout I've used two different fabric buttons that I've put some paint on. I've also used some twine behind the photo.

Merry Christmas - by Arnlaug Koppang

I guess I'm a bit late for merry Christmas, but I can wish you all a happy new year! I had a wonderful holiday, just relaxing with my family and eating lots of nice food:-)

This Friday I finally got scrapping again and managed to scrap this cute picture of my to girls on Christmas eve. Love it when I get the Christmas layouts done right away because I can't get it right the rest of the year.

On this layout I've used two red and white fabric buttons, which suits a Christmas layout perfectly:-)

The Everyday Things - with Lizzy Hill

Howdy there! My first post as a DT member here at PP! I've done an A4 page, for a change, & used some PP twine, a LOVELY check button & yummy chevron washi tape for those chevrons.

Can't be bothered explaining WHY I've scrapped this rather stunning Crepe Myrtle...if YOU can be bothered, you can read my hidden journaling!!! I know, I know...it's tiny!!
Those chevrons with the blue washi...
 Fun PP twine twirls:)
